The Mill Double Coverage Grass Seed Mix

$4.10

The Mill Double Coverage grass seed blend is built to provide a deep green, full lawn. Also known as the "Summer Stress blend", Double Coverage provides a durable and attractive seed mix for your lawn. It best serves lawns in full sun or partial shade. This blend contains a 90% tall fescue grass seed, providing extra resilience for high-traffic areas and drought tolerance. It also contains 10% Kentucky Bluegrass grass seed, for a knitting effect and elegant appearance. Kentucky Bluegrass is a grass seed with rhizomes that help it creep and fill in the holes to make a dense and full lawn. With added Kentucky Bluegrass, the seeding rate is decreased by 20%.

  • The Mill's best mixture for Turf Type Tall Fescue based sod and turf
  • Full sun to partial shade
  • Premium seed mixture providing an ultra-dense dark green lawn
  • Contains 3 top-rated Turf Type Tall Fescue and Heat Tolerant Bluegrass

  • Rapidly recovers from heat and drought
  • More seed per pound compared to tall fescue alone, reduces seeding rates up to 20%

  • Germinates in 7-21 days

Recommendations:

The Mill recommends testing soil before applying grass seed or fertilizer. A soil test analyzes available nutrients. Having this information allows us to help you make the best decisions for your lawn, leading to a more beautiful and thicker lawn. The Mill offers soil testing.*

Purchasing the seed.

I wont be planning on seeding until the weather gets a little cooler so at this time cant give a review. But if it is like the contractors seed that I use first to get coverage I am sure it will be just as good. Your seed out preforms Scotts and Pennington and the satisfaction of geting seed not fillers makes it the best value.
